GAMEHIGHED connects four universities and a game industry association in a 3-year Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership to develop innovative teaching programmes, open edu-resources, and practical guidelines for higher-eds training students for game industry careers.
What We Offer
All outputs (full list here) will be shared online free-of-charge. Besides curricula and tools for curriculum development, they will include complete course modules (syllabus + lesson plans + edu-materials + teacher’s guidelines) ready-to-use in HE programmes in the European Qualifications Framework. To facilitate broad implementation, some outputs will be in the local languages (Czech, Finnish, Polish, Turkish).
What We Need
We’d love to collect feedback on early-release versions from like-minded educators and game industry professionals. In particular:
- Higher-ed institutions willing to test and implement our outputs with students
- HE teachers, administrators & curriculum designers willing to provide feedback
- Game dev professionals willing to consult our outputs as industry experts
- Edu-institutions and educators willing to adapt our materials for other edu-sectors (school, VET, adult, youth).
In Erasmus+ we focus on the European Union and its partner countries, but we do not mind a more global outreach. We appreciate contributions from individuals, because edu-innovations often come from grassroots involvement. We are also open to partnerships with institutions that will help disseminate the materials through their networks. They may officially join the project as Associated Partners. We are looking forward to HEI and cross-sectoral collaboration.
